The University of Southern California announced the opening of its new campus in the District of Columbia on March 15, 2023. USC’s new east coast anchor is a significant milestone in USC’s efforts to expand its academic and research expertise nationwide.

Designed to a LEED Gold standard

USC’s newest campus is one of Washington D.C.’s most recognizable buildings and is a LEED-accredited green building (LEED Gold certified). LEED-certified buildings are cost and energy efficient, lower carbon emissions, and create healthier places for people. The space will be utilized to build strong bonds with local organizations and businesses, thus furthering USC’s commitment to driving innovation, growth, and success throughout the entire region.

Located at 1771 N Street NW, Washington, DC 20036, the USC Capital Campus features a 60,000 sq. ft. building situated in the heart of Dupont Circle along the Connecticut Avenue corridor. It is slated to feature classroom spaces, multiple study areas and conference rooms, a USC bookstore branch, and a space for a theater.
