The University of Southern California announced the opening of its new campus in the District of Columbia on March 15, 2023. USC’s new east coast anchor is a significant milestone in USC’s efforts to expand its academic and research expertise nationwide.

Designed to a LEED Gold standard

USC’s newest campus is one of Washington D.C.’s most recognizable buildings and is a LEED-accredited green building (LEED Gold certified). LEED-certified buildings are cost and energy efficient, lower carbon emissions, and create healthier places for people. Located at 1771 N Street NW, Washington, DC 20036, the USC Capital Campus features a 60,000 sq. ft. building situated in the heart of Dupont Circle along the Connecticut Avenue corridor. It is slated to feature classroom spaces, multiple study areas and conference rooms, a USC bookstore branch, and a space for a theater.
